Security

  1.  Re-Key your locks.
  2.  Change the garage door code.
  3.  Verify that all your window locks work.
  4.  Change all smoke detector batteries.
  5.  Install a carbon monoxide detector.
  6.  Locate the main water shut off.
  7.  Locate the main natural gas shut off.
  8.  Locate the circuit breaker panel.

Maintenance: Locate and file the Owners manuals: Put all manuals in one folder.  “Appliances”

1.  Furnace – write the serial number and model number in the manual.  Put in a new Air Filter.  Change the filter every three months. Write the size of the filter in the manual.

2.  Humidifier – write the serial number and model number in the manual.  Change the filter. Test the system to make sure the water flows correctly through the filter. Position the damper for Summer or winter mode.

3. Water Softener – write the serial number and model number in the manual. Re-calibrate the unit for your families requirements.  Fill the salt compartment and recharge the unit.  Set the hardness level and recharge time.

4.  Hot Water Heater – write the serial number and model number in the manual.  Call the customer service number on the heater to verify the warranty period.

5.  Sump Pump – write the serial number and model number in the manual.  Pour 3 gallons of water in the sump. Verify it turns on.  Make sure it has a flow valve and it works.  Go outside to the street curb and verify the water is flowing from the house to the street, if not call us. (614-554-4272)

6.  Stove –  write the serial number and model number in the manual.

7.  Refrigerator – write the serial number and model number in the manual.  Does the refrigerator have a filter?  Write down the size and part number.

8.  Microwave over the range – write the serial number and model number in the manual.  Remove and clean the filters under the unit with dawn dish washing soap, let dry. Replace with new, if needed.

9.  Garbage Disposal – write the serial number and model number in the manual.  Locate the Allen key to unclog the unit.   

10.  Dishwasher  write the serial number and model number in the manual.     

11. Garage Door opener – write the serial number and model number in the manual.

12.  Washer/Dryer – write the serial number and model number in the manuals.

13.  Gas Fireplace – write the serial number and model number in the manual.
